"Blown Grape" was the original nationally introduced 39 Studebaker that introduced the Street Rod world to
this new & exciting body style. It was a modified build of the original *Master Street Rods 39 Studebaker created
by Rick Hanson.
The images below are scans from the October 2001 truckin magazine. This truck was was tied up in legal
battles among the builder / sponsors for years after the bankruptcy and dissolution of Master Street Rods. I
was told that it made it through barrett jackson a few years back but it's whereabouts since then is not known. If
anyone has any information on blown grape, please email us.
Since Blown Grape, only one other 39 has received the blown treatment with pro street to boot. See it HERE
