Hershey, PA—The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, the largest automotive association in the US, brings its chromed and candy-colored carnival of automotive excitement to the GIANT Center at Hersheypark, May 18, 19 & 20 for the Goodguys 3rd DuPont Great American Nationals presented by Grundy Worldwide. This event, part of a national 23-event series produced by Goodguys Rod & Custom Association, bring with it over 2,500 1972 and older vintage hot rods, customs, classics, trucks, muscle cars and street machines and acres of automotive excitement. This event not only showcases 1,000’s of vintage vehicles but also

offers commercial & vendor exhibits, a used auto parts swap meet & cars for sale area, model car & pedal car show, special vehicle parking areas on Saturday, such as the Homebuilt Heaven, and the Trick Truck corral, live nostalgia stage shows on Saturday and Sunday by Rick K and the Allnighters, kids play area and lots of fun for everyone in the family.

“This event marks the return of Goodguys to Hershey and we are excited to be back here in Hershey for our third year.  The combination of the setting of Hersheypark and over 2,500 vintage vehicles is very cool and something that I think everyone will want to come and see”, says President of Goodguys, Marc Meadors. “This event is also open to vehicles up through 1972 since the muscle car popularity continues to escalate with no end in sight. We wanted to include them in the mix at this event as well. The more opportunities people have to enjoy their cars, the greater the likelihood the cars will be around for the next generation of hot rodders.”

For those with a passion for model cars & pedal cars, a special display of 100’s of these miniatures will be on hand during the event. On Saturday at 1 pm, Revell Monogram, sponsor of the model & pedal car show display, will provide model car kits for a Make N’ Take session. Kids in attendance that come to the Make n’ Take area will be given a model car kit to build and take home.
